Tim Benner prides himself on being a research guy that really gets how to translate insights to action. For the past six years, Benner has led Samsung Telecommunications in understanding and better connecting with consumers, shoppers, carriers and retailers. Prior to Samsung, he was the director of ethnographic research and analysis with SmartRevenue where he also served as a visiting professor at the University of Texas. Benner’s academic foundation includes a bachelor’s in anthropology and environmental studies from the University of Victoria and a PhD in anthropology from Southern Methodist University.
