Senior Manager, Marketing Procurement
Jim Dionne is currently senior manager, marketing procurement, at Beam where he leads the U.S. marketing procurement team, providing direction for effective category management of its marketing spend including agencies, media, print, POS, logistics and displays. His team defines and implements the cross-functional integration among: procurement, marketing, legal, sales, finance, suppliers and other business functions within Beam. Dionne is a key business partner with the marketing/sales organizations, obtaining high-quality and timely marketing services and materials, while minimizing the total cost of ownership to deliver savings to drive profitable business growth. Additionally, he leads the charge to drive the maximization of U.S. marketing spend through effective and efficient category and supplier management practice as well as identifying and implementing opportunities for business improvement and effective cross-functional collaboration.
Prior to his tenure with Beam, Dionne spent more than 15 years in various management roles at Walgreens.
